Stubborn Anchor Studios is a professional tattoo and piercing studio that offers a wide range of body art services. Our team of experienced artists is dedicated to providing high-quality work in a safe, accessible, and clean environment.

We are open for walkins Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm. Piercers are available by appointment on Sunday and Monday. 

We recommend that you call ahead or book an appointment in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your schedule.

We take all major debit and credit cards, as well as cash, Zelle, and Cash App.

Using a credit card will incur a 3% surcharge.

We offer a wide range of tattoo styles, including traditional, color, black and grey, and more. Our artists are happy to work with you to create a custom design that meets your individual preferences and needs.

We offer a wide range of piercings, including ears, face, dermal, and genital.

Most piercings are anatomy dependent. Please come in for a free consultation with our expert piercers.

Tattoos: You must be 18+ and provide a non-expired government picture ID.

Piercings:

• If a minor is getting pierced (7-17 years old), we need an original birth certificate, a non-expired government picture ID for the parent, and a picture ID for the child. This includes, but is not limited to, a school ID, a passport, a state ID, or a license.
• If you are 18+, you must provide a non-expired government picture ID.

Paperwork must be filled out before EVERY new tattoo or piercing.

Deposits lock in your appointment day and time, as well as the design from your artist. They can range from $60-$100.

Deposits are non-refundable and come off the final price of your tattoo. In the event that you are unable to make your appointment, contact your artist to reschedule. Applying a deposit to a new appointment is not guaranteed.

Piercings begin at $65, and all piercings include one piece of standard implant-grade titanium jewelry. 

We offer custom anodizing in-shop, so you can change the color of your jewelry for an additional $10. Jewelry upgrades are available, including 14 karat gold options.

Jewelry can be purchased separately, starting at $45. We install the jewelry free of charge. We also do custom jewelry orders for resale price. Contact our piercers for a list of jewelry suppliers and options.

We do not install or pierce with jewelry from outside the shop, in order to ensure the quality of the metals.

• Come to the shop early to fill out paperwork. Be sure you have the proper documentation.
• Stay hydrated and eat a meal before your tattoo or piercing.
• Be prepared to wait for your artist or piercer to prepare their room, print a stencil, and/or sterilize the jewelry for the service.
• Bring headphones, books, a blanket, a pillow, snacks, water, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable during the tattoo or piercing process.

There are many tattoo and piercing aftercare products on the market. Here are a few of our favorites that are affordable and easy to find:

• Steriwash
• NeilMed Saline Spray
• Dial Gold Antibacterial Soap
• Hibiclens 

Please note that these are recommendations and not cure-all solutions. Please use your best judgment when choosing aftercare products, check the ingredients for known allergies, and consult your doctor if any medical issues arise. Happy healing!

We provide fidget toys, pillows, and low noise sessions. Every part of the shop is wheelchair accessible with parking next to the front door and ramps into the building. We accept appointments with service animals trained to do a specific task. We also make appointments outside of normal hours to provide even further assistance with required amenities. If you need any accommodations, ask your artist and we will work with you. 

You can also schedule a private tattoo or piercing party during off hours. Call the shop for more details.

Katie offers teeth whitening, tooth gems, and composite fangs. 

• Tooth whitening sessions are $185 each and include a deluxe aftercare kit. 
• Tooth gem pricing depends on the number of gems desired. We have several styles available in shop, and custom gems can be ordered.
• Composite fangs are $300-$400, include a whitening session & deluxe aftercare kit, and Katie will consult with you about desired style and length. 

Though these services can be done on a walk-in basis, it is recommended to schedule ahead since the services can take anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours. It is also recommended that you stop in for a consultation in order to determine your eligibility.

Katie also offers LED light therapy. She will consult with you about your facial skincare concerns and goals in order to create a personalized light therapy session. To see lasting results, research recommends receiving the light therapy weekly for six weeks. 

• Each session is $45, or you may purchase 3 sessions for $120.
• Though this service can be done on a walk-in basis, it is recommended to schedule ahead since the service can take about an hour.
